Laundry Points Update

Please be advised that the University laundry machines will accept Laundry Points and Bison Bucks for each machine activation.
 
Laundry Points will be added to each resident’s Bison One Card to allow residents to conveniently access laundry facilities. Points will be sufficient for two large loads each week throughout the semester.

We are writing to update you on a few enrollment management actions that will help to improve your experience with the Office of Financial Aid, Student Accounts, and the Registrar. 

Covid-19 Vaccination Protocol Update

We are writing to remind you of the new guidance and to request that employees upload proof of your booster shot and negative PCR test to Workday prior to returning to work. Students, who are not employed by the University should follow instructions that are included in the Med Proctor portal.

Announcing Staff Salary Raise effective January 1, 2022

Today, I am announcing the latest phase of employee pay increases.  I am pleased to inform you that the University will implement a 3 percent average staff pay raise beginning in January 2022.

Mask Mandate Update

Earlier this week, Mayor Muriel Bowser announced a modification of the mask mandate in the District of Columbia, which would relax indoor mask requirements in various locations and business types.

Post-Thanksgiving Update

As a result, undergraduate courses conducted the final week of classes (November 29 – December 3, 2021) will be held online as will any final examinations for undergraduate students.
