Dear Howard University Students,

In less than a month, our campus will be abuzz with new and returning students in preparation for the start of Fall semester.

For upperclassmen exploring living-space options for the 2022-23 academic year, Howard’s Office of Off-Campus Housing and Community Engagement is pleased to announce an additional Virtual Off-Campus Housing Fair to be held on Thursday, July 21 from 12–1 p.m. Students and their family members are invited to participate.

Advanced registration is required. You will receive an access link prior to the event.

Last month, nearly 1,000 students and family members registered for the first Virtual Housing Fair of the Summer, which provided a unique opportunity to hear directly from nearly a dozen property representatives and learn more about their residential offerings. We are excited that several of our housing partners will join us once more to help connect students with a property that best meets their needs.

Additionally, you can learn more about the University’s housing partners by visiting the Off-Campus Housing and Community Engagement website. There, you will find valuable housing resources and planning tools, including an off-campus housing search checklist, student self-budgeting guide, roommate consideration brochure, and more. We encourage you to familiarize yourself with this helpful information.

We look forward to seeing you in August and are confident that you can make an informed decision about your housing selection by attending the July 21 Virtual Off-Campus Housing Fair or by accessing information available now through the off-campus housing website.
