We have reached a very exciting time with our BisonHub (Workday Student) project. After almost two years of preparation, configuration, and testing, select staff in our graduate and professional schools are now supporting applicants and their admissions process in BisonHub (Workday).
This marks the start of our implementation journey. Over the next 17 months, we will reach several platform functionality milestones which will align with the normal operating and academic rhythm of the University. These milestones will begin in September and December 2023 and then in March, May, August, and December 2024. With each new milestone, more staff, faculty, and students will have broad access to BisonHub. The milestone with the greatest impact will take place in March 2024 when our faculty and staff advising for students will begin on the platform, to be followed by our inaugural registration period being offered on BisonHub.
Over the next several months, you will receive regular communication about the status of the implementation, stakeholder impact, and our engagement and training opportunities to learn more and prepare appropriately for the full release of BisonHub. Members of the Organizational Change Management (OCM) team and the Change Agent Network will participate in campus meetings and events to give personal and targeted messages to the stakeholders in our colleges, schools, and departments. The OCM team will also be launching a dedicated website so our campus can access up-to-date project information at any time, from anywhere.
We know your attention will soon shift to supporting our back-to-school activities and the many events that occur at the start of our Fall term. We ask, though, that you remain mindful of communications regarding the BisonHub implementation update. If you have any questions, feel free to submit them to the project team using this link and we will follow up with you.
We appreciate your patience and promotion of this strategic effort to increase institutional effectiveness and efficiency for all of our students and employees.
