Spring 2022 President State Of The University Address

  • Published Date:

Dear Howard University Community,

President Wayne A. I. Frederick will give the Spring 2022 State of the University Address on Wednesday, March 16, 2022, from 11:30 a.m.-1 p.m. As a part of the address, he will also host a live question-and-answer session with student, alumni and faculty representatives. The event will take place in the School of Business auditorium in front of a small live audience and will also be livestreamed on the Howard University YouTube channel.

President Frederick will offer his reflections on the opportunities and challenges facing the University. He will provide updates on Howard’s enrollment outlook, financial posture, facilities status and more. President Frederick’s presentation will feature a variety of data points and anecdotes to provide an overarching narrative of how Howard is fulfilling its mission and where it stands in the world of higher education. The State of the University Address is also an opportunity for President Frederick to express his gratitude for all the individuals who comprise the Howard community and what they do to support each other and make our institution stronger.

All faculty, staff, students, alumni and parents are invited to watch the livestream and submit questions in advance. We encourage everyone to submit questions here prior to the event. The student and alumni representatives will aggregate the pre-submitted questions and ask a selection of them to President Frederick during the question-and-answer portion of his address.
