Welcome back. We hope you enjoyed the first week of classes. The Student Health Center wants to ensure you have a productive, healthy and safe semester. This year, there is an increased access to rapid COVID-19 tests. If you are having symptoms, it is recommended you test at the Stokes Library or the Student Health Center. For screening testing, it is recommended you test at Stokes Library. If you do test at home and get a positive result, please follow the following protocols:
- If you live on campus, please notify your RA immediately. Do not go anywhere! Please, stay in your room until you are assigned an isolation space. Email your result with your name and student ID number and the date of the test to SHCscreening@howard.edu.
- If you live off campus, please email your result with your name, student ID number and the date of the test to SHCscreening@howard.edu.
It is important to start isolation once you have your result. This will help to minimize the spread of COVID-19.
