Operational Status for Thursday, July 2: Early Closure and Friday, July 3 (Independence Day) : Closed

In observance of Independence Day, the University will close early on Thursday, July 2, at 2 p.m. and will remain closed on Friday, July 3. The campus will resume regular hours of operation on Monday, July 6.

All University offices and services will be closed during this period in observance of the holiday.

Essential Employees: Essential employees must report to campus.

Building Access: All campus buildings will be secured and locked. Essential employees needing help accessing buildings should contact the Department of Public Safety (DPS). Researchers will continue to have access to research facilities. However, researchers must be aware that parking restrictions will be in place, and some parking lots will be closed.

Weekend operations will resume on Saturday, July 4, 2026.

*Please note that students and employees in the College of Medicine, the College of Dentistry, and university clinics should follow the operational guidance provided by their respective schools, departments, or clinical supervisors.
