Operational Status for Monday, Feb. 23: DELAYED START

Due to inclement weather, including accumulated snow and hazardous road conditions, Howard University has updated its operational status for Monday, Feb. 23, 2026, to DELAYED START. Campuses will open for normal operations at 10:00 a.m.

Operations:  

  • Essential Employees: Only essential personnel are expected to report to campus before 10 a.m. If further clarification is needed, please contact your supervisor.

Instruction: 

  • *All classes as applicable: IN-PERSON beginning at 10 a.m.
    *Note that students and employees in the School of Law, College of Medicine, College of Dentistry, and their clinics should follow the policies set by their departments.

 Health Services: 

  • Howard University Hospital: OPEN at 10 a.m. 
  • Faculty Practice Plan:  OPEN at Noon
  • Student Health Center: OPEN at 10 a.m.

University Libraries:
