The University will change its operating status to EARLY DISMISSAL on Friday, Oct. 24, 2025.

  • Essential Employees: Essential employees must report to campus.
  • Building Access: Some campus buildings will be secured and locked. Essential employees needing help accessing buildings should contact the Department of Public Safety (DPS) at (202) 806-1100. Physical Facilities Management will be available for urgent matters at (202)-806-1000.
  • Researchers will continue to have access to research facilities. However, researchers must be aware that parking restrictions will be in place, and some parking lots will be closed.
  • College of Medicine: OPEN
  • School of Law: OPEN
  • College of Dentistry: OPEN

Instruction: 

  • *In-Person classes: Ending at 1:00 p.m.
  • *Remote classes: Ending at 1:00 p.m.
    *Note that students and employees in the College of Medicine, the College of Dentistry, the School of Law, and clinics should follow the policy set by their department.
