WASHINGTON— WHUT will launch a new partnership with the National Harbor in continued collaboration with the Maryland-National Capital Park and Planning Commission (M-NCPPC) at a Fun Day! event held at the National Harbor from 10 a.m. – 12 p.m on Wednesday, July 24th. WHUR 96.3 and UniverSoul Circus will bring a wide array of children’s activities to the Waterfront District during the event located at 151 National Plaza.
The Fun Day! will include a meet and greet with Walkaround Elmo from Sesame Street who will be available for photos. WHUR 96.3 will provide music and prizes. The Prince George’s County Department of Parks and Recreation will be on-site showcasing their Get Fit Mobile Unit designed to motivate kids and guests to incorporate physical activities during their leisure time. In addition to activities for kids, there will be giveaways along with performances by the UniverSoul Circus from its highly acclaimed acts.

M-NCPPC is a bi-county agency empowered by the State of Maryland through the Department of Parks and Recreation to acquire, develop, maintain and administer a regional system of parks in Montgomery and Prince George’s Counties.
