Howard’s “Bison Madness” is the Homecoming Kick-Off Event You Can’t Miss

WASHINGTON – On Monday, October 7, 2019, Howard University will host the annual sports season kick-off event, Bison Madness: Quad Edition, from 7 p.m. – 9:30 p.m. inside Burr Gymnasium during Homecoming week.  Doors open at 6:15 p.m.

“We’re excited about Bison Madness, as it kicks off our basketball season. It is a great opportunity to get our community together during homecoming week,” says Kery Davis, athletic director at Howard University.

Attendees are able to enter to win event ticket giveaways to various homecoming activities sponsored by Howard University Athletics at Bison Madness. There will be various showcases by student organizations on campus, including the Women’s Basketball Team, who will perform a fun, choreographed piece for the audience.

Attendees can expect to see a standout Showtime Band and Oh La La performance with Howard’s most classic and contemporary musical hits. There will be an entertaining dunk contest and 3-point-shoot out by the basketball teams. Additionally, the Bison Football Team, Bisonettes, and Cheerleaders will get the crowd hype throughout the night.

Attendees interested in free ticket giveaways must be present at the Bison Madness: Quad Edition on Monday, October 7 from 7 p.m. -9:30 p.m. to have a chance to win and receive the prize. For more information on the full Homecoming schedule, visit https://homecoming.howard.edu.
