Jae Murphy

On Saturday, May 9 at 11:00 a.m., Howard University 1,358 graduates will receive degrees from Howard University. Dr. Frederick shares, “The Class of 2020 has shown perseverance and grit during a global time of uncertainty and their unwavering commitment to stand Bison strong demonstrates that their newly earned status as alumni is well-deserved,” said President Frederick. “We salute this incredible cohort of scholars for their academic achievements, their mental fortitude, their commitment to service and their passion to pursue truth and excellence.”

In an echo to this sentiment and in an effort to celebrate the achievement of our scholars, DJ Jae Murphy will host a digital day party, exclusive for Howard University graduates. He shares, “Giving back to my alma mater is very important to me. Even though monetary contributions are great, I believe it’s these meaningful moments and impactful ways that truly have value that will last a lifetime. Despite having to conclude the collegiate marathon in such a non-traditional way, I can only imagine how the class of 2020 feels; however, I do know we are going to celebrate their success and applaud this new generational milestone because they absolutely deserve it. I am extremely honored to be a part of this historical moment of Howard University history.”

Following the conferring of degrees ceremony, join alum DJ Jae Murphy for an official post-ceremony celebration. To join, visit instagram.com/jaemurphy at 1:00 p.m.

The #HowardGrad20 Virtual Day Party will begin at 1:00 p.m. on Instagram LIVE.

Congratulations Howard University Class of 2020.
