Biography
Mr. Andrew Lindsay joined the Howard University Board of Trustees on July 1, 2026.
Mr. Lindsay is Corporate Vice President of Cloud and AI Platforms Business Development at Microsoft, where he leads global partnerships and business development across artificial intelligence, data platforms, cloud infrastructure, quantum computing, and other emerging technologies. His responsibilities include strategic partnerships and ecosystems and acquisitions. Previously, he served in Corporate Vice President roles leading partnerships across business applications and multiple industries.
Before joining Microsoft, Mr. Lindsay was Senior Vice President of Corporate and Business Development at HubSpot, where he served on the executive leadership team and led mergers and acquisitions, venture investments, strategic alliances, and go-to-market and application partnerships. Earlier, he was Vice President of Corporate Development at Jawbone and held positions at McKinsey & Company and Merrill Lynch. He also held positions in the U.S. House of Representatives and the White House Office of News Analysis.
Mr. Lindsay serves on the Board of Directors of Asana, where he chairs the Nominating and Corporate Governance Committee and is a member of the Audit Committee. He co-founded Howard University’s Center for Digital Business and served for ten years as chair of TechSF, the City of San Francisco’s technology workforce development initiative. He has also served on the Harvard Business School Alumni Board and as an Alumni-in-Residence at Harvard Law School.
Mr. Lindsay earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology, summa cum laude, from Howard University, a Juris Doctor from Harvard Law School, and a Master of Business Administration from Harvard Business School.
