Biography

Anuoluwapo Soneye is a computer engineering student from Sacramento, California. Since high school, Soneye has had an affinity towards coding and chose to study computer engineering to be well-versed in both the software and hardware components of computers. Soneye not only chose Howard University to meet other intelligent Black scholars but also because of its wide-reaching network. Dedicated to pursuing a PhD in the field of computer science or computer engineering, she is interested in the fields of Quantum Computing and Machine Learning. In the future, she also plans to continue teaching coding and hopes to become a role model for other Black engineers.
