Biography
Aaliyah McAfee is a computer science student from Houston, Texas. She plans to pursue a Ph.D. in cybersecurity. She is interested in researching the different applications of computer science, specifically the ways in which computer science can be used to make life easier for people. She is also interested in learning more about cybersecurity and the ways it is used to protect people’s information. She hopes that through her research, she can discover weaknesses in the current methods of cyber security and assist in strengthening the effectiveness of the most common types of cyber protection. She chose to pursue STEM because she is interested in solving problems with modern solutions.
