Biography
Miles Daniels is a biology major and hemistry minor from Dallas, Texas. Miles is interested in becoming a Physician Scientist in anesthesiology. As a researching anesthesiologist he hopes to combat the growing opioid crisis in the underserved African American communities. Daniels has chosen Howard University because of the caliber of exposure that Howard provides and the success he has seen in his parents and their peers who attended Howard University. He has chosen STEM because he believes that STEM affects the future and is the basis of new methods and technologies. Throughout his career he plans to influence other African American men to join the field of medicine or STEM.
