Biography
Osei-Sekou Whylie is a computer engineering student from Columbia, Maryland. Whylie is interested in researching improved renewable energy systems and robotics. He decided to enroll at Howard University due to the extensive network and prospects available to him, accompanied by the substantial support extended by the numerous Black scholars present on the campus. Since he was a child, Whylie has been interested in joining the STEM field because he believes his innovations could change the world for the better. The numerous brilliant Black minds in the STEM field inspire him, and he hopes his work will similarly inspire a new generation of students to be interested in making the world better with their inventive ideas.
