Biography
Kaylah Benton is a Biology Major, Chemistry and Psychology double minor from Snellville, Georgia. She is interested in becoming a physician scientist, obtaining an MD/PhD, to help minorities in underserved areas. She enjoys all things Science, Mathematics, Mental Health and Wellness. She is interested in STEM because of the versatility, challenge, and ability to make an impact among communities. Kaylah strives to be a role model for young African American girls who have big dreams and future goals. She chose Howard based on its rich history, undergraduate opportunities, and community of like-minded minorities who can help her learn and grow. Her goal is to find a field as a physician scientist and dominate, making positive contributions to the medical field and the world of science.
