Biography

Gabrielle Walker is a biology major with a double minor in chemistry and psychology from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. She plans to pursue a Ph.D. in developmental neuroscience because of her interest in understanding the intricacies of the human brain. She wishes to combine her personal background and career goals to become a role model for African American children interested in pursuing a STEM profession. Walker was drawn to Howard University because of the institution's rich culture and history and the resources available to help students succeed.
