Biography

Quentin Taylor is a chemical engineering student from Mitchellville, Maryland with an interest in materials science and its wide range of applications. Taylor’s goal is to earn a doctoral degree in chemical engineering to conduct research on energy storage, environmental remediation, and integrative biology. He chose Howard University due to the unique environment Howard provides for students of color and the abundance of opportunities. Taylor loves STEM because it is not only helpful to society, but provides an opportunity for collaboration across disciplines and borders. He hopes to contribute to the ever growing body of research and teach the following generations of scientists that will change the world.
