Biography

Brianna Harris is a biology major from Woodstock, Georgia by way of St. Louis, Missouri. She is interested in developmental and stem cell biology and hopes to pursue a P.h.D in cellular and molecular biology. She chose to attend Howard University to get a rich education whilst being surrounded by people who look like her and have the same drive as her. With her inquisitive nature, Harris has always had a passion for science. As a child she was always ready to ask why or raise awareness about any odd observation she discovered. With her passion for science and compassionate spirit, Harris wants to lead biomedical research and ethically include communities that have been misrepresented or ignored in the past. She looks forward to working in research that helps all people from all backgrounds.
