Biography
Muhammad Chawla is a chemistry student, minoring in computer science from Northern Virginia. He hopes to pursue a combined MD/Ph.D as part of his post-baccalaureate goals and serve his community through his work. He is an aspiring scholar who has research interests in several STEM and humanities fields, particularly within quantum and computational science. He has had several research experiences relevant to his interests, all with the goal of serving humanity and creating a difference. Muhammad hopes to take advantage of his unique status as a Karsh STEM Scholar to further people’s knowledge of the STEM world, and to serve as an inspiration for those interested in entering the STEM space who may be facing socioeconomic barriers.
