Biography
Morayo Adeyemi, from Bannockburn, Illinois is a Computer Science major with a minor in Mathematics. With her first interests in Computer Graphics programming she has taken that passion to pursue graduate studies into Computer Graphics research. She hopes to get a PhD in Computer Science with a focus in Computer Graphics or Computer Vision. Adeyemi decided to pursue a career in STEM research because she has always enjoyed a challenge as well as innovation. Also with her past experiences in creating 3D games for fun she would love to add to the field of 3D generation/ analysis. With the many different applications of Computer science Graphic/ Vision research, Morayo hopes to impact the STEM world in a positive way. She chose to study Computer Science at Howard University for the mentorship opportunities with faculty that have varying research backgrounds. Morayo was inspired by a woman in STEM while she was in high school, and in turn, she wants to be a mentor to young Black girls who would want to pursue STEM fields. .
