Biography
Ziad Ojakli, a board member since 2025, served as executive vice president at The Boeing Company from 2021 until 2025, where he focused on government operations, oversaw philanthropic efforts, and served as Boeing’s chief lobbyist.
Prior to that, he held senior roles leading global government affairs at SoftBank as a managing partner and at Ford Motor Company, where he served as group vice president for nearly 15 years.
From 2001 to 2004, Ojakli served in the White House as the principal deputy for legislative affairs under President George W. Bush, leading a team that developed strategy and helped secure passage of the President’s agenda in the U.S. Senate.
Ojakli holds a bachelor's degree in American Government from Georgetown University.
