Biography

Sydney is an honors environmental science major, Spanish, chemistry, and biology triple minor from Baltimore, MD. She has a great interest in environmental justice research, specifically, she works directly with at-risk communities to provide support and data necessary to improve citizens quality of life. She chose Howard to gain direct access with faculty and research at the forefront of climate justice research. She also recognizes the great potential Howard University has to be a leader in environmental justice and intends to leave a lasting impact on the institution for years to come. Sydney ultimately intends to pursue a Ph.D. in a leading environmental justice research program. She looks forward to a long career of public service intertwined with her scientific endeavors.
