Biography
Karma Brame is a Howard University student from Columbus, Ohio, with connections to Norton, Virginia, Taxco, Mexico, and Homer, Alaska. She is a double major in both mathematics and Spanish with plans to pursue a PhD in mathematics with a focus on education. Her goal is to increase enthusiasm around STEM subjects by researching better educational methods for younger adolescents. She chose Howard University because of her desire to attend a Historically Black University and to learn from people across the Black diaspora. She looks forward to the opportunities Howard University will offer and the role she will play in inspiring young Black students to enter STEM fields.
