Biography

Jordan Clemetson is a physics major and philosophy minor from Ann Arbor, Michigan, and a dedicated student driven by a profound curiosity about the universe. He got an introduction to physics research in high school and is currently engaged in research focused on electromagnetic spectra. Jordan plans to pursue a Ph.D. to contribute to the study of dark matter and its potential high energy sources, as well as connections between dark matter particles and the standard model. Additionally, fueled by a commitment to diversity and inclusion, he hopes to teach astrophysics to young Black aspiring physicists, aiming to inspire and empower the next generation of scientific minds.
