WASHINGTON - WHUT-Howard University Television will collaborate with the National Harbor, M-NCPPC Department of Parks and Recreation, Prince George’s County; WHUR 96.3, the event will also include interactive performances, and Urban Pirates to provide a variety of children’s activities and surprises at the National Harbor on Wednesday, August 21stfrom 10 a.m. to noon. The event takes place on the National Harbor Plaza (151 National Plaza).
The Back-to-School Celebration includes a meet and greet with Buddy the Dinosaur Train; WHUR 96.3 will provide music and prizes, the Department of Parks and Recreation Prince Georges will showcase their Get Fit Mobile Unit on-site and will share tips on ways to empower all age groups to incorporate physical activities during their leisure time, along with additional live performances.
