WASHINGTON - Howard University is proud to present a special encore presentation of Apple Music’s popular special tribute Rap Life Live Concert this Friday, October, 16 at 8 p.m. EDT. Featured performers are Lil Baby, Rapsody, Nas and Wale. 

A social uprising and pandemic has deeply penetrated the heart and soul of our society. Now more than ever, Apple Music is bringing awareness to the issues that disproportionately effect Black and Brown communities and support the need for change across the country and in future policy. Rap Life Live is a one hour broadcast special captured at Howard University and hosted by Ebro Darden, media executive and radio personality. This special concert will feature artist performances, conversation, and advocacy for change to bring awareness to social justice issues and to inspire community involvement. 

Additionally, Rap Life Live will feature sit down interviews with Howard University students -  including student association president Rachel Howell, Miss Howard University Taylor Davis and president of the 10for10 organization Peter Lubembela - providing a global platform to empower the next generation of leaders as they discuss how they are working to inspire, educate, unite and uplift their communities.
