Tickets Now Available: ‘The Meccaverse!’ Howard University Announces the 2022 Homecoming Event Schedule

Welcome to The Meccaverse #HowardHomecoming2022

WASHINGTON – Tickets are now on sale for the 2022 Howard University Homecoming, scheduled October 15-23, 2022. This year's homecoming theme, “The Meccaverse” honors the many generations who have contributed to the creation of the special universe we call Howard University. This year’s celebrations will be the first fully in-person Homecoming since 2019.

The week of festivities will begin on Sunday, October 16 with a day of praise at Howard’s legendary Call to Chapel and segue into the Royal Court Coronation, a time-honored tradition of the Howard University royal destiny formal ceremony. 

Homecoming week will feature many fan-favorite activities designed for Bison of all ages, including the Student Fashion Show*, the Greek Step Show*, and President Wayne A. I. Frederick’s State of the University Address. This year’s featured events will see the return of the Alumni Tailgate*, a beloved gathering that has been suspended since 2019, and the introduction of the Young Alumni Brunch*. The week-long festivities will close out with the Alumni Jazz Brunch* and Gospel Concert on Sunday, October 23
