Howard University’s Dean of the Graduate School Dana A. Williams will launch on June 17 Toni at Random – The Iconic Writer’s Legendary Editorship in conjunction with Amistad/Harper Collins. The book chronicles Howard alum Toni Morrison’s (B.A.’53, H ’95) time as editor at Random House publishing company.  In the book, Dean Williams also captures her personal memories and conversations over the years with the legendary writer. “Writing this book has been a labor of love. We know far too little about Toni Morrison as editor. But her influence on the publishing industry cannot be overstated.
