Howard University to Welcome Asante King, His Majesty Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, Asantehene and Custodian of the Golden Stool of the Asante Kingdom

WHAT:

Howard University will welcome His Majesty Otumfuo Osei Tutu II to campus for a distinguished lecture exploring governance, cultural preservation, traditional leadership and the enduring connections between Ghana and the global African diaspora.

The historic engagement sponsored by Millenium Excellence Foundation will bring together one of Africa’s most revered traditional leaders and the Howard University community for an exchange centered on scholarship, leadership, culture and the advancement of peoples of African descent.

The visit reflects Howard University’s longstanding role as a global center for intellectual leadership and its deep connections to Africa and the African diaspora.
