WASHINGTON (July 27, 2016) - The Howard University Hospital Human Resources Talent Acquisition Team attended the Philippine Nurses Association of America Conference on July 21-22 in Washington, DC. The conference brought together hundreds of Filipino nurses from around the region.

HUH recruiters were able to network with nurses and highlight current nurse vacancies. HUH Nurse Darwin Dollano, CNIII, joined the team for a day and was able to personally tell other nurses about career opportunities at Howard University Hospital.

“The Human Resources Department is excited about a year of outreach opportunities and attendance at conferences and job fairs,” said Dr. Jeronica Goodwin, senior director of Human Resources at Howard University Hospital. “Our best recruiters are our staff members. It was a delight to have Mr. Dollano join us at the event. Many more outreach events are planned and we hope to have employees help us spread the word about this great organization.”

On Aug. 11, the Human Resources team will attend the Eleanor Holmes Norton Job Fair at the Washington Convention Center.
