Gwendolyn H. Everett, Ph.D., Named Interim Dean of the Chadwick A. Boseman College of Fine Arts

In addition to her academic experience, Everett has served as a research consultant with the National Museum of African American History and Culture Plan for Action Presidential Commission. Her findings on African American art collections were documented in 2003’s “The Time Has Come: Report to the President and to the Congress.”

Springfest has become a Howard University annual tradition that serves as both a break from the school grind and a chance for creative Bison to prove their talents to The Yard. To capture this year's cultural signifier, students Zora Johnson and Aisha Y. June grant us an inside look of Springfest 2024.

“Through our lenses as current students, Springfest performers, and artists, we curated a photo gallery to provide an insider’s look for anyone who might’ve missed Springfest as a way to celebrate the Bison whose genius, commitment to service, style and familial vibes make the Howard experience unique,” they wrote.
